Pinups for Pitbulls

A week ago we were in Philadelphia for The Great Philadelphia Comic Con and we met some pretty cool people there! One of those people were a group of women called  Pinups for Pitbulls! These lovely ladies have an amazing mission. Their goal is, as a not-for-profit organization, is to raise money and awareness for and about the truth of the adorable pitbulls that are being euthanized and being turned into fighting cruel dogs. No breed is born with the want to harm others, some are known to be more protective and this comes off as being "aggressive" but you can turn any animal mean when you treat them cruelly and unlovingly. Here is an excerpt from their website:

"PFPB is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to educate people about the history, temperament, and plight of the pit bull-type dog; raising awareness to rally against Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) and Breed Discriminatory Laws (BDL). PFPB’s goal is to restore the image of the pit bull-type dog to its former reputation of America’s companion animal, war hero, and family member."

We really like these ladies and the dogs they want to help, we ask that you check out their website for events they have coming up, donate, and/or buy some of their cool merch!
